Chanel’s Reissue 2.55 returns to the original vocabulary of the house: diamond quilting, aged leather with a naturally broken-in character, and the rectangular Mademoiselle lock that distinguishes the style from the more familiar CC turn-lock of the Classic Flap. In black, the 227 format has the proportions to work as an everyday shoulder bag without losing the slightly more considered feel that makes the Reissue so compelling. The chain strap can be worn long or doubled over the shoulder, depending on the outfit.
