Demna Gvasalia introduced the Hourglass bag for the Fall/Winter 2019 runway, looking back to Cristóbal Balenciaga’s legendary 1950s Basque jackets and sculptural tailoring. Sculpted from croc-embossed leather into a concave trapezoid, the signature arched base of this small bag swoops upward like a modern gallery installation. An arched upper handle pairs with a detachable strap, while the front flap suspends a metallic B charm that swings gently with your stride.
