−The Datejust set the template that a lot of dress watches have since borrowed from: a fluted bezel, a cyclops lens over the date, and a dial simple enough to read at a glance. This one pairs a black dial with Oystersteel, the fluted bezel in solid 18k white gold. That cyclops lens was Rolex's own invention, added in the 1950s to magnify the date so it didn't disappear at arm's length, and it's stayed on nearly every Datejust since. Jubilee bracelet in Oystersteel, 15.50 cm, automatic movement, water-resistant to 100 meters.
