A portion of the proceeds from each Montblanc Donation Pen purchase is donated to selected cultural projects supporting classical music. This year, the collection honors Johann Strauss II, the Austrian composer known as the "Waltz King" for his operettas and Viennese waltzes. The pen's design is inspired by the first Donation Pen, created in tribute to Leonard Bernstein. The clip, resembling a violin bow, reflects Strauss' passion for playing the violin. Both his signature and the Montblanc name are finely engraved on the cap ring.
